STOLEN BIKE:

My roommate John’s bike (seen in the photo above) was stolen in Bed Stuy this morning between 2:30 and 9:00, on the corner of Franklin and Gates avenues. The bike looks basically as it does above, but with aqua deep V wheels laced to gold Paul hubs and different bartape/grips. The following description lists what was most recently on the bike. 

Large Serotta custom made ex-Trexlertown track rental bike. Campy Record headset, Mavic barstem and cranks, purple Profile chainring, aqua Deep V’s laced to Paul high flange hubs, Cinelli bar tape that’s ripped on left side, blue Animal Edwin grips on the flats, blue Animal pedals and black Hold Fast straps. White Toupe saddle. Plenty of stickers on the bike: Animal Chin Sticker (have you seen him?), “Reggae in your jeggae” (Trojan records), big black “USELESS” sticker on top tube are among the notable stickers.

Police cracking down on crappy cyclists. I’m all for it.
